2. Promotion

The promotion is for one winner to receive a full house of oak internal doors, professionally supplied and fitted by Goss Carpentry, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

The prize is advertised as being worth up to £2,000.

3. Opening and closing dates

The giveaway opens on 10/06/26.

Entries close at midnight on 03/07/26.

Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.

The winner will be announced on 4/7/26.

4. Who can enter

This giveaway is open to entrants who:

• Are aged 18 or over.
• Live within a 30-mile radius of Swansea.
• Own the property where the prize would be installed, or have full permission from the property owner/landlord.
• Have a property that is suitable for installation following inspection by Goss Carpentry.

Employees, contractors, immediate family members or anyone professionally connected with Goss Carpentry are not eligible to enter.

5. How to enter

To enter via social media, entrants must:

• Follow the Goss Carpentry page.
• Like the giveaway post.
• Tag a friend in the comments.
• Share the post to their story.

Entrants may also gain an additional entry by completing the entry form on this page.

Only valid and complete entries will be included in the draw.

If a social media account is private and the story share cannot be verified, Goss Carpentry may ask the entrant to provide proof of sharing.

6. Number of entries

Unless stated otherwise by Goss Carpentry:

• One social media entry is permitted per person.
• One additional entry is permitted via the entry form.
• Duplicate, fake, incomplete or automated entries may be removed.

7. The prize

The prize includes the supply and fitting of up to 9 internal oak panel doors.

The prize includes:

• Internal oak panel doors.
• Chrome handles.
• Standard fitting by Goss Carpentry.
• Installation at one eligible property within the stated radius.

The maximum number of doors included is 9 doors. If the winning property requires more than 9 doors, any additional doors, materials or labour will be quoted separately and must be paid for by the winner if they wish to proceed.

The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.

8. Door specification

The doors supplied as part of the prize will be oak panel doors selected by Goss Carpentry from its standard supplier range.

The handles supplied will be chrome handles selected from Goss Carpentry’s standard range.

Alternative door styles, premium ironmongery, fire doors, glazed doors, external doors, bespoke doors or non-standard sizes are not included unless agreed separately in writing by Goss Carpentry.

9. Suitability of property and door linings

The prize is subject to the winning property being suitable for installation.

Existing door linings/frames must be suitable, secure, reasonably square and within the cutting tolerance of the doors.

For this promotion, door openings must be within the permitted trimming tolerance of the selected doors, allowing for a maximum cut of 6mm from either side edge of each door, unless the specific door manufacturer confirms otherwise.

If the existing linings, frames or openings are unsuitable, out of tolerance, damaged, not square, require replacement, or require additional preparation work, Goss Carpentry reserves the right to:

• Decline installation at that property; or
• Provide a separate quote for the additional remedial work required; or
• Select an alternative winner if the property is not suitable for the advertised prize.

Any additional work required to make the property suitable is not included in the prize unless agreed in writing by Goss Carpentry.

10. What is not included

Unless agreed in writing, the prize does not include:

• More than 9 doors.
• Replacement door linings or frames.
• Architraves, skirting boards or decorative mouldings.
• Structural alterations.
• Plastering, painting, staining, oiling or decorating.
• Electrical, plumbing or other trade works.
• Disposal of old doors, unless agreed.
• Fire-rated doors or certification.
• External doors, patio doors, sliding doors or bespoke-made doors.
• Repairs to existing frames, walls, floors or surrounding areas.

11. Survey before installation

The winner must allow Goss Carpentry to inspect/survey the property before doors are ordered or fitted.

The purpose of the survey is to confirm:

• The number of doors required.
• The door sizes.
• The condition and suitability of the existing linings/frames.
• Whether the property falls within the promotion requirements.
• Whether the work can be completed safely and within the advertised prize value.

The prize will only be confirmed once Goss Carpentry is satisfied that the installation is suitable.

12. Winner selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

The draw will be carried out fairly, using a random selection process or under independent supervision.

Goss Carpentry’s decision is final.

13. Winner notification

The winner will be announced on 4/7/26 and contacted by Goss Carpentry.

The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted. If the winner does not respond within that time, Goss Carpentry reserves the right to select another winner from the valid entries.

The winner may be asked to provide proof of identity, age, address and property ownership or landlord permission.

14. Installation date

Installation will be arranged between Goss Carpentry and the winner, subject to availability, product lead times and property suitability.

The winner must be available to arrange a survey and installation within a reasonable timeframe.

If the winner delays the survey or installation unreasonably, Goss Carpentry reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.

15. Prize value

The prize is worth up to £2,000.

If the final value of the doors and fitting is less than £2,000, no cash difference will be provided.

If the winner requests additional doors, upgraded products, extra works or anything outside the stated prize, these will be quoted separately and must be paid for by the winner before work begins.

16. Publicity

By entering, entrants agree that Goss Carpentry may announce the winner’s name and/or social media handle.

The winner may be asked to allow photos or videos of the completed installation to be used by Goss Carpentry for marketing purposes. This will be discussed with the winner before any content is published.

17. Data protection

Personal information provided for the giveaway will only be used to administer the promotion, contact the winner, verify eligibility and arrange the prize.

Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

18. Liability

Goss Carpentry is not responsible for entries that are lost, incomplete, delayed, misdirected or not received due to technical issues, platform problems or user error.

Goss Carpentry reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend the promotion if circumstances outside its control make this necessary, provided this is done fairly and without disadvantaging entrants.

19. Acceptance of terms

By entering this giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

20. Governing law

This promotion and these Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
